Weighing In Kids From 4 Years of Age

Well it’s just come to my attention that the Australian Government is looking at weighing in all children from kindergarten (4 years of age).

They intend to put their weight on their reports so that parents can see and monitor the child’s weight.

I don’t know about you but I think this is just pointless. I don’t think there would be a parent alive that doesn’t KNOW their child is overweight BUT how many parents out there actually KNOW what to do about it??

Address the core issue - Parents - don’t waste time giving 4 year olds a hang up about their weight!

I don’t think I even knew what weight or a pair of scales was until I was in my early teens. Too much emphasis is placed on the result of obesity and not enough on the solution.
